Doug would be proud. :) Happy to report that PMB! is working with P-Crock to get these all new 1:25 (NOT 1:18) Batmobile scale model parts for the Polar Lights 1:25 Batmobile models by P-Crock available for pre-orders soon.
NOTE: If anyone out there is doing high-quality resin casting or knows someone who is – please put them in touch with us. We’d like to reduce the amount of time that some of these parts take to produce and right now we’re getting things from overseas which takes forever.

January 5, 2018 at 3:40 pmJust saw the post of the Batmobile detail components for the dashboard
I have a specialized circuit for added leds to the model – will the detailed
scope on Robin’s side and the center sequential light detail piece accomodate
tiny LED’S ??

April 7, 2018 at 11:04 amHi Adam, we have in the past but the Joemobile is so beyond help, it’s not something we continued with. We had more accurate wheels, dash parts etc. but Gads, that thing is hard to get motivated to work on. :) We built and customized two of them and will post an article about those projects because your question reminded us that we never have posted about it! But it wasn’t a fun or pretty project. There’s so little going for the Joemobile, (including that it’s not anywhere close to 1:6 scale) that it seems like it would be better to just start from scratch. There is a Hot Toys prototype out there in 1:6 scale, and one collector/modeler had started a project where he 3D scanned the Hot wheels Batmobile and was trying to scale it up to 1:6, but both those stories and models are phantoms these days. 1:6 cars just seem like a boatload of investment and trouble. That being said, if Hot Toys ever releases theirs or if someone else makes a good scanned resin version available, I’m sure we’ll get and attempt it.

January 29, 2019 at 9:04 pmWhile were at it I am doing some work on the Mattel hot wheels 1:18 scale Elite batmobile.
And you guys are right about the FANTASY Batmobile engine not to mention the brake fluid container, the over sized & horribly chromed fire wall & all the rest of the junk that hot wheels chose to put there to take up space. I have pictures a cd photo album with what the 1966 had under the hood including the 390 Ford big block 1966 Ford Galaxie engine that it still had at the time in the 90s’ under the hood with flat black matte fire wall, brake fluid container, etc.
All items were much smaller and not over sized junk! I want to take my demel and remove all of it fire wall & then replace with recast smaller cast accurate futura fire wall, etc.
